Carcasses supposed for necropsy must be saved refrigerated, but not frozen, as freeze/thaw artifacts obscure gross and microscopic lesions. Because of public well being concerns, we aren’t in a position to return carcasses or components. Ashes or cremains will not be returned unless accredited by the State Veterinarian. If permitted, ashes or cremains shall be returned for an extra cost.
